Solidarity Holidays by Association des Paralysés de France, France

For 80 years now, APF Evasion has been organising holidays for disabled people.
Volunteers help the holidaymakers in their daily routine: eating, washing, going to the bathroom, accompanying them during their visits and local activities. There is one volunteer per vacationer. No particular skill is required. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old, have good physical stamina and be willing to share intense and unforgettable moments for a 2-3 week summer break.
APF Evasion covers transport, food, housing and insurance expenses, and provides a one to two days training on-site, before the arrival of holidaymakers.
