Chantal Bruno, President of COFACE Disability, and member of the Association des Paralysés de France (APF) participated to a training for professionals on child abuse, in Georgia. The three-day training, “How to identify and assess situations of neglect and abuse in disabled children”, was organised by the International Child Catholic Bureau (BICE), an international NGO committed to the defence of rights of the child, and disabled children in particular.
The BICE started in December 2016 a large-scale project in Georgia, financed by the European Union. This project plans to open 3 resource centres on child abuse. More information about this programme here (in French)
