Public consultations on the evaluation of the EASI and Horizon 2020 programmes

Time to have your say to support the social policy and research agenda at EU level!

The European Union Programme for Employment and Social Innovation (EASI) and the Horizon2020 research programme, are currently the subject of a mid-term evaluation. Both evaluations also include open public consultations of EU citizens and organisations. We would like invite our network to position themselves on both programmes by answering the brief online questionnaires. The deadlines for both consultations are around mid-January 2017.

EASI: It is important to highlight the importance of EASI to support social service and social policy innovation, as well as the importance of transnational exchanges for driving such innovation with a view to ensuring better inclusion for individuals and their families. Many national and European organisations have benefitted until now from EASI funding, and it is important to highlight its value in order to ensure EASI funding is prolonged beyond 2020. More about the consultation here.

Horizon2020: This is a European research programme which contributes to social sciences and humanities research, building an important body of evidence for sustainable and effective family policies. The previous research programme (FP7) supported excellent projects like Families&Societies. This should be continued under Horizon2020, and we need to ensure such funding is prolonged post-2020 under the next programme (FP9).
