SESSION 3: FUTURE AND NEXT STEPS ON EU/DEVELOPMENTS
Discussion 1: Action at EU level: who is who in the Reconciliation policy arena
Presentation of key actors and developments by the COFACE Secretariat (Paola)
– Institutional setting: procedures, who does what and when (Commission, Parliament, Council)
– Stakeholders at EU level: WLB Coalition, Social Partners and other NGOs
– Combination of top-down and bottom-up approach (=working in Brussels and in EU MS).
Discussion 2: Presentation of new European work-life balance package of the European Commission
Presentation of the Directive and Communication published on 26 April 2017 by the European Commission and the draft COFACE Reaction/analysis paper (to be launched mid-June) by COFACE Secretariat (Paola).
