KMOP launches first mobile app against bullying in Greece

Do you experience or have you seen bullying at school or the internet? Download the new Live Without Bullying (LWB) mobile application and speak directly, free and anonymously with qualified psychologists to find a solution.

The app is available on the Google Play Store, and you may find more information about Live Without Bullying

The new mobile app is aimed at 13-18 year olds, parents and teachers, while it is worth noting that the chat consultants are professional psychologists who volunteer for the Live Without Bullying programme.

The launch of the first mobile application against bullying in Greece took place on November 8th, 2018 at the Public store in the center of Athens, as a KMOP event, which has been developing the programme for 3 years.

As Dr. Antonia Torrens, President of KMOP and Responsible for the LWB programme stated: “Children and teenagers, parents and teachers need information and constant support, both in terms of their mental strength and resilience, as well as information on the risks they face about the irrational use of the internet. We believe that the new Live Without Bullying application for mobile phones will be a powerful tool to counter bullying in our country. ”

The event also featured talks by Dr. Georgios Nakos, Psychologist at the Cyber Crime Bureau, and Thanasis Theofilopoulos, Sociologist – Project Manager of Color Youth Organization – LGBTQ Youth Community of Athens.

Live Without Bullying actions include awareness campaigns, parents’ updates, and seminars for teachers and children, which take place at school, with the approval of the Ministry of Education.
