La Ligue des Familles: Report published on the implications for Belgium from the WLB directive

La Ligue des Familles has just launched a thorough and very interesting report on the Work-Life Balance Directive and its implications for Belgium.

The report is divided into two main parts – the explanation of the Directive per se, which includes the current Belgian situation, and the potential transposition in Belgium – and underlines the current situation of the different leaves and the employment’s rights in Belgium.

Furthermore, the report stresses that Belgium can use the Directive to upward the current Belgian system, which La Ligue des Familles considers inadequate, so as to implement ambitious reforms that fulfil the needs of Belgian families.

You can find the report here (in French).
