Open call for proposals to address: A) equal participation of women and men in public fora, in leadership positions in politics and in the corporate sector; B) to support public authorities and civil society in relation with the ‘New Start to Support Work-Life Balance for Parents and Carers’ initiative.

Co-financing rate: 80% of full project costs
Project types: National/transnational activities such as campaigns, trainings, analytical activities, conferences, practical tools,
Duration: 24 months
Overall budget: around 1 million euros
Deadline for proposals: 19th June 2018

Open call for projects on the topic of “Common Challenges – Share Solutions” to reduce social and economic disparities.

Co-financing rate: 90% of full project costs
Specific policy priorities: Innovation, Research, Education and Competitiveness; Social Inclusion, Youth Employment and Poverty Reduction;  Environment, Energy, Climate Change and Low Carbon Economy; Culture, Civil Society, Good Governance and Fundamental Rights and Freedoms;  Justice and Home Affairs. Description of specific priority sectors here, including worklife balance under priority 1 (Innovation, Research, etc)
Eligible countries: Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia.
Project types: Activities supporting inclusive dialogue and the strengthening of transnational/regional networks, knowledge sharing and policy exchange to accelerate innovation; job creation; the development of sustainable cooperation structures between the business sector, public sector, civil sector and academia; and engagements contributing to and enhancing effectiveness and efficiency in policy development and responses to common European challenges
Duration : Long-term
Overall budget: Minimum 1 million euros
Deadline for applications: 1st July 2018

REC-RRAC-RACI-AG-2018 – Call for proposals to prevent and combat racism, xenophobia and other forms of intolerance
Deadline for submission: 04 October 2018

REC-RRAC-ONLINE-AG-2018 – Call for proposals to monitor, prevent and counter hate speech online
Deadline for submission: 11 October 2018

REC-RRAC-HATE-AG-2018 – Restricted call for proposals for public authorities on preventing and combating racism, xenophobia and other forms of intolerance, and in particular hate crime and hate speech
Deadline for submission: 27 September 2018


>>Erasmus+ 2018

As in 2016 and 2017, the 2018 Programme Guide places a special focus on encouraging projects supporting social inclusion (notably of refugees and migrants), as well as preventing radicalisation.

Deadlines for submission: Spring 2018

The Erasmus+ 2019 call will be published end of 2018. This is a great opportunity to develop transnational projects between COFACE members.

>>European Structural and Investment Funds 2014-2020

Specifically the European Social Fund is useful to support family organisations and services to families, such as:

-Personal assistants for persons with disabilities
-Employment support for family carers
-Professional development of childcare workers
-Early childhood education for children from migrant families
-School mentors for families needed extra support
-Piloting community-based services
-Family-friendly workplaces
-Service centres for single-parent families
-and much more..
