On 29 June, the president of UNAF Marie-Andrée Blanc welcomed Marlène Schiappa, State Secretary for Equality between men and women, to celebrate the publication of the results of the 2017 barometer on the reconciliation between professional, private and family life (from an employee perspective), carried out in partnership with the Observatoire de l’Equilibre des Temps et de la Parentalité en Entreprise.
The 9th edition of this barometer shows the growing interest of French employees for reconciliation between professional, private and family life. 93% of respondents believe that the balance between professional and personal life is an important or even essential matter. This figure is similar to 2016 results, which confirms the importance of this issue for the vast majority of employees and the feeling of “lacking time” for other activities in their daily lives.
The rate of employees not satisfied with the solutions provided by their employer in terms of work-life balance remains high: 64% of employees believe their employer is not doing much to help them finding a balance between work and family life.
Results of the barometer are available here (in French).
